Casey Key, Venice and Manasota
Key - A quite and secluded area of the Gulf
Coast with endless sandy beaches.
Some call it “Florida’s best kept secret”. Beaches are as nature intended - un-crowded and
peaceful.
Venice Beach is an excellent place to
enjoy an afternoon of warm sunshine, picnics and
swimming, as well as exceptional shark tooth hunting.
Venice Beach attracts divers to it's coral reef,
located about one quarter mile offshore.
Caspersen Beach, the longest beach in Sarasota
County, is located south of Venice Harbour Airport. It
has been left in its natural state, uncultivated, and
very secluded.
North Jetty Park is one of the
best surfing beaches on Florida's Gulf Coast. It is
also popular for fishing. Stroll down any afternoon
and you'll be sure to find visitors from all over the
world.
Nokomis Beach, is a quiet family-oriented
beach. It supplies the many area boaters with a boat
ramp for launching. Nokomis Beach is great place for
fishing, swimming, strolling or enjoying the beautiful
sunsets.
Thirty-five miles of beaches line Sarasota County's
coast.
A Visit
to “Sharkeys” restaurant on the beach at Venice is
highly recommended. Dine under the stars on fresh
seafood just a few steps from the warm waters of the
Gulf. Many more restaurants are to be found in Venice
itself along with some excellent shops.
The
beautiful beaches of Boca Grande are just a fifteen
minute drive away and Siesta Key and Sarasota around
thirty minutes further. Close by the Rotonda Golf &
Country Club offers four courses which are open to the
public at reasonable rates and Fishing Charters and Boat
Hire are also available .
All
of our homes are equipped to a high standard and the
pools are solar heated.
